GOOD LUCK CARD
The most recent development for
the Good Luck Card for the astronauts
is the announcement that Dr. Joseph
M. Still Jr. will be the presenter of the
Good Luck Card to Lt. Cmdr. Susan
Still and her crewmates. The presen
tation will take place shortly before
their scheduled shuttle flight set to
begin on March 27, 1997.
Carnell Eubanks had begun the idea
ofthe Good Luck Card to collect signa
tures of local folks who want to wish
good luck to Lt. Cmdr. Still and her
crewmates. The USS Star League has
been the main drive in promoting the
collection of signatures, which now
number over 1,400. The following
locations are currently displaying a
copy of the card for signing:
