Much noise about the
Symphony package
As a joint venture of the Au
gusta Metropolitan Convention
and Visitors Bureau, the Augusta
Symphony Guild, the Morris Mu
seum of Art, Saint Paul’s Church,
.and the Partridge Inn, anarts and
-culture motorcoach package called
‘Showcase Augusta was developed
.to show off the beauty and culture
‘of the Augusta area to potential
motorcoach tourists.
. The success of this package,
'which was offered to motorcoach
‘groups visiting between April 24
‘and May 16, has exceeded
‘everyone’s expectations. Fifteen
motorcoach groups with a total of
216 people, have booked this tour
to date, which includes overnight
accomodations at the Partridge
Inn, with a complimentary break
fast and dinner on the veranda, a
tour of the Augusta Symphony
Guild Designer Showcase, a visit
to the Morris Museum of Art, a
two-hour driving tour of historic
Augusta with a step-on guide, a
