which note with interest at the
rate of 8 percent per annum was
payable in equal installments of
$150.00 each, beginning on July
1, 1976, and continuing
thereafter on the same day of
each succeeding month, with a
final payment due Jan. 1, 1992.
Time was made the essence of
the contract, and the note
contained a provision for the
payment of 15 percent of the
principal and interest as at
torney's fees, if collected by law
or through an attorney at law.
In order to secure the payment
of said note, Douglas T. Mullis
and Darlene C. Mullis executed
and delivered to Paul E. Hollis,
Sr. a deed to secure a debt,
conveying the following
described land.
All that tract or parcel of land
lying and being in Spalding

said plat of survey is made a
part of this description.
Said Deed is recorded in Deed
Book 464, page 44, in the office
of the Clerk of Superior Court,

Because the said Douglas T.
Mullis and Darlene C. Mullis
defaulted in making payment of
I the monthly installments as
they matured, the Grantee,
to the provisions of
said note and the deed aforesaid
securing the same has exer
kised his option and declared
the entire balance due and
collectible. Notice fixing the
liability for attorney's fees has
been given according to law.
There is a balance due as of
November 1, 1976 of $15,960.00
principal, besides interest and
attorney's fees thereon.
This deed contains a power of
I sale, authorizing the grantee, as
I attorney in fact for grantor
therein, to sell the property
conveyed thereby in order to
satisfy said note after ad
vertising the same once a week
for four weeks in the official
newspaper of said County. In
accordance with this power of
sale the Grantee will sell the
property above described at
public outcry to the highest and
best bidder for cash, on the first
Tuesday in March, 1977, at the
