Page 6 — Griffin Daily News Tuesday, May 31, 1977 Green overcomes deficit to down Gold squad, 75-69 The Green overcame a 9 point deficit in the fourth quarter last night to down the Gold 75-69 in Griffin’s intra-squad basketball game that ended spring practice. “It was a super game,” Coach Bobby York said. “I rate it one of the best spring games as far as being well played .We had 12 players on each team and everyone played super,” he said. ■Hie Green team was the smallest of the 2 squads. It had more guards. The Gold squad was slightly larger overall and was considered the best rebounding team. Marvin Curtis and Tommy Joe Coleman paced the Green team to its victory with 16 and 13 points respectively. J. C.
