general contractors will be
received by the Board of
Regents of the University
System of Georgia, Owner, at
"Director's Office in Room 101,
Stuckey Bldg, at the Georgia
Experiment Station, Ex
periment, Georgia until 1:30
P.M. legal prevailing time on
July 28, 1977 for the construction
of "Natural Gas System Im
provements."
At the time and place noted
above, the proposals for each
project will be publicly opened
and read. No extension of the
bidding period will be made.
Bidding documents may be
obtained at the office of the
Engineer, Tribble & Richard
son, Inc., 116 Pierce Avenue,
Macon, Georgia. Applications
for documents together with a
deposit of $25.00 per set should
be filed promptly with the
Engineer . Bidding material
will be forwarded as soon as
possible.
Any non-bidder or un
successful bidder, upon
returning such set promptly and
in good condition will be
refunded one-half of the deposit.
Contract, if awarded, will be
on a lump sum basis. No bid
may be withdrawn for a period
of 30 days after the time has
been called on the date of
opening. Bids must be ac
companied by a bid bond in the
amount not less than 5 percent
of the base bid. Both a per
formance and a payment bond
will be required in an amount
equal to 100 percent of the
contract price.
The Owner reserves the right
to reject any or all bids and to
waive technicalities and in
