Says one younger diplomat who has worked with Bunker and ad mires his skill and stamina: “He just might take on still another job. He likes this kind of work.” Although Bunker is now known to doze off during negotiating sessions, especial ly after lunch, a senior diplomat close to him says it’s no problem because it fits right in with his negotiating style: “To just take them back and forth over the same grounds until everyone else is worn.
