Sea. 1. Be tt ordained by tho mayor aod aldermen of the
City nt Savannah anl hamlet* thereof, in Council met,
aud It Is hereby ordained bv the authority of the same,
that from and after the passing of thla ordinance, so much
of eaefi ordinanaee or part or parts tf ordinance*, now of
force in tbo city of itavsnosh. that authorise the police of
the city, whether mounted o- footmen, or night watch-
msn or day watchmen, to receive one half the fine Im
posed upon any person against whom they may have

from and sfter the passing of this ordinance, any fine ira-

the Guard House In any case whatsoever, shall be wholly

part thereof.
