TAKEN up and brought to Savannah goal, on the 30th
day of Oftober lail, a NEGROE MAN, who cal’s
himfelf Abraham, and fays his master’s name is Baker: He
is a young likely fellow, very black, about five feet ten in
ches high, and speaks but little Englifti. It is probable
that he belongs to fome gentleman in Carolina, as no per
son of that name in this province owns him.
TO BE SOLD,
A PLANTATION of 100 acres of goddoak and hickory
land, a small house and about 100 mulberry trees
thereon, about two miles and a half from town, joining the
glebe land; 12 acres under fence. Enquire of the printer.

to meet at the house of Mrs. Smith in Savannah, on
Monday next, being the 18th inllant, at fix o’clock in the
evening, on particular business: And also at the fame place
on Saturday the 23d instant, at eight o’clock in the morn
ing, being the anniversary feall of the said society.
