Whereas* by an inquejl taken the leythday of March lafl* on
view of the body of one Alexander Crawford, found dead
at the plantation of John MiUedgt* Efqnire* on Little Ogecbtt* the
•verdid of the jury was , “ That the jaid Crawford Was fobbed
** and murdered by a ntgroe fellow* named Scipio* the property of
14 the said John Mdledgewhich said negroc * immediately after
perpetrating (he said fad* made bis ejeape; and although a reward
cf five pounds Starting was offered by the said John MiUedge for
apprehending the said negroe , he hath not yet been taken ; and
whereas it is of pnblkk utility that the said negroe flould he brought
to juflice* therefore notice is hereby ‘ given, That, over and above
the reyeard offered by the said John ‘MiUedge* a further reward of
Ten Pounds Sterling will he paid by his Mayfly's Treasurer for
this province , to any person or persons who flail apprehend tht Jaid
negroe* and deli ver bm to the Piovefi- Marflai at Savannrh ;
and if it flould happen that the feud negroe is killed in taking him ,
infuch cafl x on a proper certificate and proof thereof* the person or
persons flail be entitled to a reward of Five Pounds Sterlings

* He has to dispose of, two tracts of land, pleafmtly situate
on Nofth Newport river, within eight miles of the town of
Sunbury, adjoining each other, the one confuting of r co
acres, about 40 of which are cleared, and the other of 700
acres; both are very suitable for rice and indico plantations
and are well timbered with oak, of which a great m;av
Haves may be made; each traft has above a mile front on
the river, and will be fold together, or fepar-tely, and ere

WHereas the fubferibers, as surviving copartners of
the late Thomas Rafberry and company, arc under
an absolute necessity of fettling the concerns of the said com.
pany, and being determined to clofc their particu ar co.
partnership affairs, new expired more than ten years finer,
they therefo* request all persons indebted to Harris and
Haberfham, or to the said Thomas Ralberry and company, to
difeharge their respective debts before the 10th day#f jine
next; and as they have too much reaf n to fay, that they
have been great fufferers by their uncommon indulgence, no
person, negleding to comply with their request, tan be of.
fended at rheir making use of such means as the law pre*
feribes to obtain their demands.

the law.
