The Commons have ordered their thanks to be given to
Lieut. Gen. Draper and Admiral Cornilh, for the impor
tant ferviees they have rendered their King and country by
the redudion of the Manilas.
Several copies of his Majesty’s royal inftru&ion to his
£ cellency the Governor, relative to the treaties entered
fftto with the Indians, and to the hunting grounds and lands
atferved and claimed by them, have been printed, and are,
l y order of his Excellency, sent throughout the settlements
in this province, and ado into the Indian country,, to be
explained and publifted amongst the several tribes of Indi
ans, agreeable to his Majesty's royal commands for that
purpoie.
By late accounts from Fort Barrington we learn, that
Capt. Ellick was returned from the nation, and lays, there
are bad talks among# the Upper Creeks, in which they
>vant the Lower Towns to join them, but they have refufed.
Thursday last his Majetty’s Hoop of war the Epreuve,
having had her bottom repaired, was again turned over ;
on which occasion they had a faiute of the great guns from
the fort at Cockfpur. She is expelled up to the harbour in

Monday died at Tybce, of the small-pox, Capt. Benja
min Warp, of the sloop Savannah Packet, from Charleftown.
He was taken with them just as his qnarentine was out; the
veflcl is not permitted to come up to the harbour.
Same day a pafleager on board laid sloop got up to town
