Later.—The steamer Isabel, arrived off Sa

vana, bringing Gen. Lopez, one s Aids, Senor
J. Sanchex Yznega, and Messrs. J.G. Hunton,
and C. H. Horton. Gen. Lopez, was arrested at
Savannah, by orders from the President, and re
leased from custody after examination. He ar
rived in tiiis city from Savannah last evening
and left for New Orleans this morning, He
behaved with great bravery during the r 11 : ck
The invaders lost 4 killed and 10 wounded
and the Cubans about 25 killed. The Governor
was taken prisoner, but released up, n g ~r.g

treated. A large portion of the invaders were
left at Cardenas and others landed at Key West.

1 he ship Lexington has arrived, bringing the
latest dates from Rio. There is a great epide
mic prevailing there and in the neighbouring
tow ns. The deaths amounted to one hundred
and fifty per day.
The Lexington spoke in lattitude 15 deg., and
longitude 32 deg., the ship Medora, from Charles
ton for California.
Brown and Shipley’s Circular by the Europa
estimates the slock of Cotton on hand at Liver
pool at five hundred and eight thousand bales.
Ihe steamer Constitution from 8t 1 ouis for
New Orleans was destroyed by fire at Memphis
on Monday last. Two ferry steamers were also
burnt. Loss estimated at SIOO,OOO.
