It i* between General Du Bose, the pnaent member, supported by the “Straight-out Democracy," under the banner of O’Conor and Adama; Gen. A. It Wright the nominee of the Gree- layitea, and Hon. Philip Clayton, the nominee of the Grant men. We need not aay that oar sympathies ate entirely with Gen. DoBuee. He haa ■erred theDiatnct with great fidelity. Not* complaint has been raised from any quarter against a single one of bis pub- llio acts. The great objection to him by 'old party associates seems to be his ob jection to Hr. We trust every voter in the Diatriot will read it, and oonaider it; and, notwithstanding the odos against which he enters the race, we sincerely hope that the verdict of the people at the polls will be “well done thou good and fhithful servant.” But whether Gen.
