Comfort Suites opens
Comfort Suites recently opened its doors in Forsyth County. The all-suite hotel has 67
rooms that include a sitting room with sofa, comfortable sleeping accommodations and a
desk area for the business traveler. Comfort Suites has smoking and non-smoking rooms.
The welcoming atmosphere is complete with breakfast, and you can start your day with
more than coffee. A variety of juices, cereals and breakfast breads are available. All major

IRS provides extra tax help
During the final weekend of
the tax filing season the IRS
will be providing extra help for
taxpayers to get their returns
filed.
Realizing that the April 15 fil
ing deadline is looming very
near, many taxpayers are now
scurrying to get their records
together to file. And because of
this, the IRS will have its (800)
829-1040 telephone line open
on the final Saturday of the fil
ing season.
In addition to weekday regular
business hours, IRS tax assistors
will be available April 12 offer
ing help particularly for taxpay
ers who have questions about
completing their 1996 returns.

a 100,000-square-foot build-to
suit headquarters facility on 9.2
acres at Johns Creek. The com
pany, which will occupy the
building at 100 percent capacity
in January 1998, also has pre
pared for long-term expansion
by securing the 5.8-acre adja
cent property as the site of a
future 75,000-square-foot build
ing.
The facility will house the cor
porate offices as well as WMA’s
affiliated companies, including
WMA Securities, Inc., WMA
Investment Advisors, Inc.,
WMA Mortgage Services, Inc.
and more.

Engineering employees honored
The Forsyth County Department of Engineering recently honored employees for service
and dedication. Frances Kennemore received recognition for four-years of service; Robin
McCook and Risky Byrd each received two-year certificates; Lori Conrad and John Keys
received their one-year certificates. Robin McCook and Lori Conrad are both with the
Central Office; Risky Byrd and John Keys are with the Roads and Bridges Division; and
