Deaths
Jack Fleming
Jack Fleming, 16, of Cumming
died at Georgia Baptist Hospital
in Atlanta as a result of injuries
sustained in an automobile acci
dent.
He was a 10th grader at Forsyth
Central High School and was a
member of the Forsyth Central
football team, the baseball and
basketball team.
Survivors include his parents,
Donn and Becky Fleming of
Cumming; sisters, Tracy Hess
man and Terri Fleming, both of
Cumming; nephew, Dylan
Hessman of Cumming; grandpar
ents, Virginia Fleming Carver and
Blanche Cordell, both of Mari
etta; and a number of other rela
tives.
Funeral services will be held
Monday, April 13, 1998 at 2 p.m.
at Forsyth Central High School
gymnasium. The Rev. Robbie
Mathis and Tom Fleming will
officiate.
Interment will be held at
Sawnee View Memorial Gardens
in Cumming.
In lieu of flowers, donations

Rosalene S. Summerville
Rosalene S. Summerville, 75, of
Cumming died Thursday, April 9,
1998 following an extended ill
ness.
Survivors include her son and
daughter-in-law, Lamar and
Linda Westbrook of Cumming;
grandchildren, Cody and Jennifer
Westbrook of Colorado, Slade
and Elizabeth Westbrook and
Shelby Westbrook, all of
Cumming; great-grandchildren,
Mallory and Madelyn Westbrook
of Cumming; sister, Grace
Bennett of McDonough; brother,
Grady Voyles of Cumming; and
several other relatives.
Funeral services were held
Friday, April 10, 1998 at 4 p.m. al
Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Jimmy Glover officiat
ed.
Interment was held at Bethle
hem Baptist Church cemetery.

Randal Andrew Ackerman
Randal Andrew Ackerman, 45,
of Suwanee died suddenly
Wednesday, April 1, 1998.
Ackerman was born in
Charleston, S.C. in 1952. He
graduated from Westminister
High School of Atlanta in 1970
and Principia College in Elsah,
111. in 1974. He was a member of
the Episcopal Church of the Holy
Spirit in Cumming. Ackerman
was employed as a service direc
tor at Chris Volvo in Marietta.
Survivors include his wife,
Molly Ackerman of Suwanee;
daughter and son-in-law, Anne
Ackerman and Dane Morrison of
Atlanta; son, Andrew Ackerman
of Suwanee; parents, John Melvin
and Eva Ackerman of Atlanta;

Sally S. Miciek
Sally S. Miciek of Cumming
died Wednesday, April 8, 1998.
Born in Lodi, Calif, of
Japanese ancestry, she was a
victim of the relocation of the
Japanese Americans during
World War 11. She was at the
detention camp in McGehee,
Ark., for two and a half years.
Following her release, she set
tled in Cincinnati where she
married.
Survivors include her hus
band, Raymond F. Miciek; five
children; 10 grandchildren;
nieces, nephews and two sis
ters.
Memorial services were held
Saturday, April 11. 1998 at 10
a.m. at the Ivy Creek Church in
Lawrenceville.
In lieu of flowers, donations
may be made to the American
Cancer Society or to the
Japanese Citizens League.
Cremation Society of Georgia
had charge of the arrangements.
