... a National Day of Prayer
Walk will be May 6 from 10
a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning
at the Mount Pisgah United
Methodist Church. 2850 Old
Alabama Rd.. Alpharetta, at
the sanctuary/north Campus.
Walk the Newtown/Alpharetta
Community. Prayers for
America, unity of churches,
schools, assisted living, Red
Cross, the government, and
many other national organiza
tions.
The walk is approximately
one mile. There will be a short
prayer service in the sanctuary
to begin the walk. Only chil
dren that are young enough
for strollers are allowed on the
walk. We will have the walk
rain or shine. If it is raining,
we will have the event inside
the gathering area near the
sanctuary. Please feel free to
invite anyone that may be
interested in this walk. All
churches are invited. We wel
come you to dress comfort
ably and use patriotic attire.

Walk for Life
... Whispering Hope
Women’s Resource and
Pregnancy Center’s inaugural
Walk For Life, Saturday, May
8. Registration will begin at 9
a.m. with the walk at 10 a.m.
During that hour one of the
mothers will give her personal
testimony. The walk route
will loop around the facility at
133 Samaritan Dr. in
Cumming. We invite you to
take a tour of the center fol
lowing the walk. Whispering
Hope offers compassionate,
confidential counseling and
support services to women in
the community facing unwant
ed or unexpected pregnancy.
This year’s Walk For Life will
help raise the necessary fund
ing to continue providing our
services free of charge to
those in our community.
Special prizes will be awarded
for the two walkers in the fol
lowing age groups who raise
the most funding: adult, teen
and child. Pledge forms are
now available, for more infor
mation call Pam Al-Bawab at

Auditions

will be Saturday. May 8, from
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday,

Callbacks will be May 9 from
