The New York Financial Chroni cle of January 16th makes the total visible supply of cotton 2,107,810 bales —a decrease aa oompared with last year el 82,980, a decrease aa compared with 1888 of 246,860, and a decrease as compared vim 1882 of 106,306 For the week ending January 16th the receipts at the United States ports reached 108,488 baits, making the total elDce September 1 3.868,132, showing a decrease of 88,329. The principal place of business to be in the city of ColumbuB, Masco gee county, Georgia. The capital stock of the company shall be five thousand dollars, with privilege of increasing the same to any amount not exceeding twenty thousand dol laru, said stock to be divided into Biiares of one dollar each. Ten per cent of said first mentioned sum shall be actually paid in beforeany of the powers conferred by the char ter herein prayed for shall be exer cised. Petitioners desire said corpora tion to have the power of suing and being sued, of contracting andbeinj contracted with, to have and wo a common seal, to make by-laws,rules and regulations binding on its members not inconsistent with law, to alter, amend and annul the same at pleasure; to receive, held, rent, lease, purchase, mortgage, sell, dis pose of and convey both real and personal property necossary for the purposes of suid corporation and securing debts to it; to elect, ap point and lomove such officers, managers, directors and agents as it desires and to do all and singular such acts and exercise such powers, rights and privileges as maj be necessary or. to the interest or for the legitimate execution of the ob jects and purposes of said associa tion. The stockholders of said corpor ation, in the event of the failure of the same, shall not be bound per scnally in their private capacity to ti,e creditors of the same except for the amount, of unpaid stock sub scribed or held by such stockholder, or after he bus paid out of his pri vate property douts of the said cor poration to an amount equal to his unpaid subscription. It appearing to the court by ihe petition of G E Thomas, jr, and V D Peabody, administrators on the estate of D N Gibson, deceased, that Rev C P Gabourj on the 7th March, 1883, executed and deliver ed to D N Gibson and J A Gubourr a mortgage od a tract, a lot, of land, to wit: "The following described property situated in above state and coimty, and in J A Gaboury’* survey of the James C Cook place, said property being known as lota A, B and C Lot A having a north line 011 Rotemont Avenue of 160 feet, an east line on Cook Avenue of 250 feet, a south line on Magnolia Avenue of 160 feet, a west line of 250 feet, adjoining lots B, O and D. Lots B and C having a front on the Hamilton road 83 1 3 feet, and ex tending back 100 feet to lot A, all iu the Gaboury survey,” for the pur pose of securing the payment of a certain promissory note for the sum of $1,333 33, made by the Rev C P Gaboury on the 7th of March, 1883, with interest at 8 per cent per annum from date, and payable to D N Gibson and J A Gaboury, or bearer, and due two years after date, which said note is the prop erty cf the estate of D N Gibson, de ceased, and which the said Rev C P Gaboury refuses to pay r - It is, therefore, ordered that the said Rev C P Gaboury pay into this court, on or before the next term thereof, Ihe principal and interest due on said note, and the cost of this suit, or iu default thereof, the court whl proceed as justice shall appertain. And it is fnrther ordered that this rule bo published in the Enquiror- Suu, a newspaper published in the county of Muscogee, once a month, for four months, or served on the Hftid Rev C P Gaboury, or his special agent or attorney, thie© months previous to the next term of this Court.
