I contracted blood poison two years ago
I was treated with Potash and Mercury
for over two months by physicians. I
thought I was well, but the Arc's were only
smouldering. The eruption came out
anew more violent than betore. A friend
who had tested it in a similar cose suggest
ed S. 8. 8, I began its use, and'coni-
menced to improve from the start. As the
disease passed away, it left me with mer
curial rheumatism as the result of taking
the mercury and potash mixtures. That
is also yielding to the influence of Swift's

afflicted I would say, give it a fair trial,

Honey Good for Catarrh.
A physician says: "When a teaspoonful
of warm honey is taken every fifteen,
twenty or thirty minutes it has a surpris
ing effect on catarrh. Every family should
have a glass of pure honey in the house, in
• order, at once after catching cold, to be
able to use some.”

Seared About the Gas.
There is much apprehension in Pitts
burg, Pa., over the prospect of a sudden
stoppage in the flow of natural gas, which
would cause great inconvenience to many
manufacturers. Two large establishments
have already ceased operations, owing to a
lack of gas. The recent earthquake is
thought to have diminished the flow.

says he was, for many years, badly afflicted
with Phthisic, also Diabetes; the pains
were almost unendurable and would some
times almost throw him into convulsions.
He tried Electric Bitters and got relief
from first bottle and after taking six bot

flesh eighteen pounds. Says he positively
believes he would have died, had it not
been for the relief afforded by Electric Bit-
