pers, who appear to be marvelously igno
rant of the existence of any Law on this
subject, we publish the following synopsis,
which may serve for occasional reference :
I. Ail subscribers, who do not give ex
press notice to the contrary, are considered
as wishing to continue their subscriptions.
g. If subscribers order the discontinuance
ef their papers, the publishers may continue
to tend them until arrearages arc paid.
3. If subscribers neglect or refuse taking
their papers from the offices to which they
ere sent, they are held responsible till their
bills are settled, and their papers are or-
dxred to be discontinued.

Qy The state of market, at these points, is
always given as nearly correct as onr ex
changes will allow.

tation is a very neat and commodious
DWELLING HOUSE, with all the neces
sary offices, &c. There are also ample ac
commodations for 200 Negroes. The over
seer's house, negro houses, and all the build
ings on the plantation are framed, and built
in the most substantial manner.
The Plantation will be sold at private
sale, entire, or divided into two tracts, vix:
ali that'portion lying to the North of a line
runniug through the centre ol section 33 and
34, in township 16, range 3, east; and on
the Chickasawbogue creek, containing 2200
acres, all of which are the richest and best
cotton and corn lands. The lands lie in sec
tions 15, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 33 and 34 of the
above named tow'nship and range; on this
portion are located the Settlements, inclu
ding two large Gin Houses, extensive Barns,
Stables, &c. &c.
The other portion of the Plantation em
braces between 600 and 700 acres, lying in
sections 33 and 34, above township and sec
tions 3 and 4, township 15, range 3 cast,
most of which is good cotton and provision
lands. On this tract is the dwelling-house
referred to above, the ground, around which
embraces a very fine orchard, garden, &c. if
not sold at private sale, before the time spe
cified, the separate portions of the flota
tion. as above described, will be sold at auc
tion, after the sale of the personal estate.
Conditions of Sale.—Of the negroes and
other personal propci ty, all sums under
$500, cosh; all sums over $500, one haif
cash, balance in notes payable in twelve
months, with interest added, aud two secu
rities
