A Sad Affair.
Last Friday evening Mr. Martin
Harris, a citizen of this county, and
a very clever man, left this place for
his home, about se.ven miles distant.
It will be remembered that it was a
very cold night. He was found on
the road side between Cedar town and
D. A. Whitehead’s. When conn* up

from his waist up being all nearly
burned off. The theory is that he

to his home. The services of Dr.

but the man’s body had been burned
to a crisp, and of course no human
art could save him. After a f**w
short, but puiuful hours, he was re
