Ayers is very fond and proud of his little waif, “Willie Finest.” It is nearly seven months old, and is said to he a bright, beautifu’, rosy, sweet child —a boy at that. Little Willie was conv yed to his new home on last Sun day night, II • was packed up in a warm cosy little nest, with plenty of clothes. A Bible was in the package, with the words, “Willie Ernest; born July 15th, 1876. Teach him to read this book,” written on the ffy leaf. Mr. and Mrs, Ayers, who have no children of their own, were delighted at receiving this precious bundle. They will take care of it, and provide for it, an l train it up in the way it should go, by teach ing it to read its Bible—“tbe Book of all Books.” We welcomo the little one to Conyers; arid wish, in common with the citizens here, that it “ may live long and prosper.
