lie held next Friday, ilie 3d inst., as the
fourth comes on Saturday. All are in¬
vited to attend and to carry a well filled
basket for the dinner A good time

On July 1st 1891 the Board of Ed
ucation of Covington, Ga., will hold
the annual election for Teachers for
the public schools of said city for the
ensuing scholastic year. At that time
the following teachers will lie elect¬
ed:— A principal and three assistant
teachers for the Female School. A
principal and one assistant teacher
for the Male School. At the same
time the board will elect teachers for
the Colored School.
