On Tuesday last, by special re
quest, a goodly number of the
young people of Ellijay assem
bled at the residence of J. P.
Cobb, one mile from town, where
a splendid dinner, in honor of the
t'weuty first birthday of J. P.
Cobb, Jr., awaited them. The
fea'Sl was a sumptuous one, and
all jiartook of it to their owu sat
islaction. The eTeniug passed off
pleasantly. About four o’clock
ihe cohipany started for home
