Mrs. M ihaiey Killian of this place disd last Friday night, and was interred in the city cemetery at this place Suuday morning last. This good woman has long been sick and after suffering in tensely for a long season, death came to her physical rtdef. Her death was a tri umph of the Christian religion—the d->ath-bed being a scene of more than ordinary ease and eouseieneoness She talked beautifully of Heaven and her parting injunction to the family was im. pvessively touching. Mrs Killian was a good woman, and the example ol her life wiil tell in future days with those who knew her long and well. She was 6< years old at her death . She was one of the oldest settlers ot Ellljay, having lived here 42 years. She has been a faithful member of the M. E. Church, South, for about 45 years, and time, the tomb-builder, has transformed her membership to another more lasting church. Everybody had confidence in her life as a Christian, which is the grandest tribute to tli“ departed, Kev. B. M.
