Allsop’s India Pale Ale.
I J k/ k CASKS, quarts and pints of Allsop’s
j ’ f* Flndia Pale Ale, in very prime condition,
from the celebrated bottling of Frederick Friend
<Si Co., London, which is the standard beverage
in the East India Possessions—is well known
nearly the world over—it is well adapted to warm
climates, being lighter than the Scotch.
Professor Liebig’s opinion of unrivaled bev
erage for all climates, appropriately described by
the Sanitary Commissioner of The Lancet as
“ Wine, of Malt,” is thus adduced in a letter ad
dressed to Mr. Henry Allsop:
“The specimens of your Pale Ale sent to me
afforded me another opportunity of confirming its
valuable qualities. lam myself an admirer of
this beverage, and my ow-n experience enables
me to recommend it, in accordance with the opin
ion of the most eminent English Physicians, as a
very agreeable and efficient tonic, and as a gen
eral beverage both for the invalid and the robust.
