Allsop’s India Pale Ale.
| ZWA CASKS, quarts and pinta of Allsop’s
IV/\Jllndia Pale Ale,in very prime condition,
from the celebrated bottling of Frederick Friend
& Co., London, which is the standard beverage
in the East India Possessions—is well known
nearly the world over—it is well adapted to warm
climates, being lighter than the Scotch.
Professor Liebig’s opinion of this unrivaled bev
erage for all climates, appropriately described by
the Sanitary Commissioner of The Lancet as
“ Wine of Malt,” is thus adduced in a letter ad
dressed to Mr. Henry Allsop:
“The specimens of your Pale Ale sent to .oe
afforded me another opportunity of confirming its
valuable qualities. lam myself an admirer of
this beverage, and my own experience enables
mo to recommend it, in accordance with the opin
ion of the most eminent English Physicians, aa a
very agrocable and efficient tonic, and as a gen
eral beverage both for the invalid and the robust.
JUSTUS LIEBIG.
