E. B. Dykes For
Comptroller General
For twelve years member of the
legislature from Dooly County and
one term in the senate, during
which time he was president of
that body, Mr. Dykes, who is a
resident of Vienna, Georgia, is wide
ly known to the public. He man
aged the first and second campaign
of Senator Walter F. George. He
is a veteran of the World War ; a
member of the American Legion
and past commander of his local
post at Vienna. He is a graduate
of Mercer University Department
of Law and of the Atlanta Law
School.
He declares he will give a cap
able, honest administration: will
not accept fees as a receiver for
any Insurance company or insur
ance funds; and his only salary
will be that of the office fixed by
law. He also states he will not
employ members of his family in
the department during his admin
istration.
Mr. Dykes has campaign head
quarters at the Ansley Hotel in
Atlanta.

Ordinary of said county for leave to

Parcel of land in the town of
Fort Gaines, Clay County, Georgia,
containing one and one-half acres,
more or less, described as follows:

south east from the intersection of
Washington and Hartford streets,
thence running east 657 feet to

south 157 feet to lands of J. H, Mc-
Kissack, thence west 616 feet to

ton street 89 feet to point of be
ginning; being the same tend convey

Clay county.

the estate of I. D. Felder which
lands are described in a deed from
C. J. West, et al to I. D. Felder,
dated September 21st, 1934, record
ed in Book “N,” page 383, in the
office of the clerk of the superior
court of Clay county.
Also that part of lot No. 174 in the
7th district of Baker county, Ga.,
containing 33 1-3 acres, which is
described in a deed from L. W.
Lofton to I. D. Felder, which' deed
is recorded in Book No. 28, page 60,
in the office of the clerk of the su
perior court of Baker county, Geor
gia.
The sale of the said lands will be
for the purpose of making distribu
tion of the said estate.
Said application will be heard at
the regular term of the Court of
Ordinary of Early County, Ga., to
be held on the First Monday in
