Conference of the M. E. Church South,
for the Rome District commenced its
second session, in this place, last night.
The delegates are no* arriving by
veyance. The Conference will con
tinue in session through the coming
Sabbath, when it is expected the pul
pits of both Churches will be filled on

the delegates a cordial welcome, and
do all in their power to render them
easy and comfortable. Our little sanc
tum is thrown wide open to them, and
our exchanges are freely tendered for
their use. The Ministers of other
