Now that the season is changing,
and we are having a reminder that the
Summer is passing away, and the
bright days of Autumn arc approach
ing, the ladies will seek to adorn them
selves with those beautiful ornaments
which aid in rendering them so attrac
tive and bewitching. It is a pleasure
to us to call, not only their attention,
but also that of the public to the beau
tiful and extensive variety of watches,
diamonds, bracelets, silverware, in fact
all the good:! usually found at a first
class jewellers, such as the one presid
ed over by our enterprising, courteous,
worthy and well known fellow citizen
Mr. George Sharpe.
Mr. Sharpe has burst the old chrys
alis of custom, is a “Live Jeweler,”
keeping the latest styles of the most
beautiful goods. His magnificent fix
tures, jewels and plate, present a be
wildering dream of wealth and luxury.
To examine his beautiful and extens
ive stock one can see that many of the
resources of the fine arts have been ex
hausted upon th u esu 1 . A more d< -
Birable stock of watches, chains, and
rings, can rarely be seen. Os his mag
nificent diamonds and gems, we shall
not speak, as they, in marked contrast
to most earthly creatures can always
•best speak for them selves.
Mr. Sharpe brings many years expe
rience to his business. To all who can
appreciate the victories to be always
achieved by tuete, good judgment and
enterprise we would say, do not fail to
call upon him, you will find him polite
and courteous, offering goods in his
line of the newest and most approved
styles, at reasonable prices; goods
which in variety and selection are un
eclipsed, if equalled in this country.
