Gen. Walker landed and u. i Truxillo, (a sea
port town of Central America, State of Hondu
ras. Its population with the adjacent- hamlets
U 4,000. It* harbor on the bay of Truxillo, is
defended by several forts, i shore was only one
gun fired by the troops, and two of Walker’s men
were wounded bv tbe engagement.
