Railroad Accident—A Sad Romancr.—-An accident occurred on Wednesday eveaing, on the K. T. & Ga. Railroad, by which several persona were injured, one fatally. Tbe tram which was bringing the <22d Alabama Regiment to this city, ran oil the track, a few miles this side of Cleveland, wrecking the t/aia badly.— A girl, in uniform, who wee with the rest of the soldiers without revealing her sex, but who -• l tfiat amputation was ue cessary, and both were taken off, but without avail; and death put an end to her aufleriage last nigh*. She gave hernauie as Lilly White, aud told a sad story of woman's wrong#. She had disguised herself in male attire, ead joia ed this regiucieut with the expectation of find ing her deceiver, who ia in tbe army, and aven ging her shame. A few of the soldiers were •lightly wounded but none others seriously.— This poor girl's fate is another warning agaiust the danger of eating an the platforms of rail rond cars ia traveling.—Knox. Wear a Knapsack Should Cost a i a—The official regulatioas in Louisiana enumerate ns follows : One blanket, one shirt, one undershirt, one pair of drawers, three pairs of socks, one pair of shoes, one towel, one tin cup, one pan one plate, one kuife and folk, one cake of soap, one handkerchief, a piece of oil cloth to use under the blanket, and nothing elec. No token of friendship, no daguerreotypes, no books, are al lowed. But we don’t suppose there would be any objection to a hair brush, a comb, a tooth brush, a box of blacking, a shoe brush, a little looking glens and scissors, with thread, naedles and pins.
