and sermen at 11 o’clock a. m., by Rev.
[. H, Miller. Preaching at night at
7:30 by Rav. W. G. Crawley. The pub

church, to organize and consider ar
rangements for the convention.

Road Bonds Election.
GEORGIA--Cusßs Couvry,
To the qualified voters of said county:
Notice is hereby given that an election
will be held or Saturday, KFeb. 9, 1907,
at all the voting or election precinets
within the limits of said county, and by
the same persons, and in the same man
ner, and under the same rules and regu
lations that elections for officers of said
county are held, the returns of which
shall be made to the Ordinary of said
county, who shall in the presence of,
and together with the several managers,
who bring up the returns on Monday,
Feb. 11, 1907, at 12 o’clock m, at the
court-house in said county, consolidate
said returns and declare the result, for
the purpose of determininyg the question
whether said county sha!l issue bonds
for the amount of $210.000 for the pur
pose of providing a fund to he used for
‘the building, repairing, macademizing
‘and permanently improving the public
roads of said county, the interest of
which bonds is to be paid semi-annually,
and the sum of $7.000 of the principal of
said bonds shall be paid annually, which
sums shall be rzised by a sjccial tax,
levied for that purpose anoualiy, by the
proper authorities of said county for a
period of thirty years, and during the
time which said debt is to run The
rate of interest on said debt shall be four
and one-half (4 1-2) per cent per annum.
The langnage of the baliots to be used
in said election shall be as follows:
Those in favor of the issuing of said
bonds under the terms of this advertise
ment, and the order of Cobb Court of
Ordinary, granted on Jan, 1, 1507, auv
thorizieg the publication of the same,
shall have written or printed on their
ballots the words ‘“For Road Bords’’ and
thore opposed to the issuing of said
bouds under said termg, shall have writ
ten or printed on ilieil ballots the words
‘Against Foad Bonds.”
Sadd bouds, if issued by said county,
shall be issued by the proper authorities
thereof, in derominativns of $5OO each,
and to bear daie July 1, 1907, and draw
interest froin date at the rate of four
and one-half (4 1-2) per cent per annum,
payable semi-annually as aforesaid, and
on the first days of J uly and January of
each year, during the period which said
debt is to run, and to become due as
follows: :
Fourteen (14) of said bonds shall be
come due July 1, 1908, and annually
thereafter fourteen (14) of said bonds
sliall beeome due, until all of said bonds
shall have matured ; the last fourteen (149
thereof to become due July I, 1937
