On the date above named we will sell at auction a large number of building lots in the Gober property on
the east side of town. .
This is one of the most valuable pieces of vacant property in Marietta. It is on one of the highest points
in the city, has good drainage and the lots all lie well. North avenue has been opened from Roswell street south
ward, and Waterman street extended from the public school building east it is expected will be opened through this
property. This will put all these lots in easy reach of schools, churches and car line.
The water main extends through the property, giving it that advantage over any other vacant property in
Marietta. For homes or investments nothing better can be found. Many of our citizers bought lots in the Ses
sions and Butler properties when they were put on the market. Every purchaser who at those sales made profits
on his investment almost all the lots are now built on. Every house in Marietta is occupied and numbers of people
have been unable to get homes here. WE MUST HAVE MORE HOUSES TO ACCOMMODATE THE PEOPLE.
It is this great demand for homes that has induced Judge Gober to offer these lots. Drive out and see the
new streets.
TERIMS--1-3 Cash with balance in 1 and 2 years with interest.
