The singing at' fiecatqr on last
Sunday was largely atterded, and
some of as good music rendered as
I ever listened to. It was real
diverting to see the young ladies
dressed in their fine thin garments
and their faces logked almost klue
from cold, but stil& theg_griuiied

All portions ox the county that
I have seen, and other counties
that I have heard from, have a
sorry stand of cotton. I have
also heard from Texas, and the
cotton has died there the same as
here.
If last week had heen wet like
the week before, the farmers would
have had to staked their cotton
rows off so they could have seen
how to plow it.
We are glad to note that Mrs
Caleb Burton, who has been sick

“+ | BADLYMIXED UP.
Abraham Brown, of Winterton, N.
Y., had a very remarkable experience.
He says: “‘Doctors got badly mixed up
over me. One said heart disease; two
ealled it kidney. trouble; the fourth,
" blood poison, and the fifth stomach and
- liver trouble ; but none of them helped
- me; so my wife advised trying Electric
"'"Bitters, which are restoring me to per
' fect health. One bottle did me more
good than all the five doctors pre
geribed.” Guaranteed to cure blood
.poison, weakness, and all stomach, liver
- and kidney complaints, by J. W. Legg
