! We were out on Kennesaw Avenue as
ifar as the Wilder place last Thursday
‘and were greatly surprised at ‘the
amount of good substantizl work done
|by the city on that street. The hill in
‘front of Milam’s and the one in front of
Mr. Squires, have both been cut down
to a level grade to the corporate line,
and there the county has taken up the
'work and extended it on beyond the
! Wilder place. The work is substantial,
'with a good layer of gravel surface.
iThe citizens on that street are very
‘much pleased and gratified at having
| their street placed in such a fine condi
‘tion. It enhanees the value of the pro
‘perty and makes it easy for travel. The
cutting down of the hill at the turn of
the road going to Wilder’s is a great
improvement. The people are loud in
their praise of Mayor Dobbs and Coun
¢il for what they have done.
