’ ANNOUNCES FOR JUDGE,
' Marietta, Ga., Oct. lst, 1907.
~ To the Voters of the Biue Ridge Cir
cuit:—l desire at this time to publiely
announce my candidacy for Judge of
the Superior Courts of the Blue Ridge
Cireuit, subject to the next Demoecratic
primary.
I promise the entire people of this
Judicial Circuit thatif I am elected, I
will devote the best work and energy of
my life to the duties of the office, and I
will give them a fair, impartial, clean,
and ecenomical administration of the
laws,
I will do this regardless of how they
voted in the past or how they may vote
in the future.
I will do this regaraless of what po
litical faction they may have affiiliated
with in the past or may afiliate with in
the future.
I will do this regardiess of their poli
ties—whether Democrat, Populist or
Republican.
I will do this regardless of whether
they are rich or poor, white or black.
Every man, rich or poor, Democrat,
Pogulist, or Republican, should respect
and obey the laws:and when the law
deals with them, they should all be
dealt with fairly, justly and impartially,
and they should all be placed uPpon the
same level in the court house. Polities,
political differences, nor political prej
udices should never become a factor in
the enforcement of our laws or the dis
charge of official duties.
Whether I have opposition or not, I
also promise the entire people of the
Circuit that I will not in this race, di
rec_tly or indirectly, use any money,
whiskey, or any other thing of value,
for the purpose of bu{ing votes or
hiring workers in behalf of my candi
dacy, nor will I knowingly permit my
friends to do this.
1 am a member of the State Demo

State-at-Large, and I will advocate the
adoption and enforcement of rules
which will prohibit the use of money,
whiskey, or any other things of value,
to buy votes or hire workers in any®%f
the primaries, and that will disqualify‘
any person from being declared the
nominee of the party for any office, who]
violates the rules of the Committee.
It kas been my intention for a num
ber of months to make this race, and T
have so expressed myself in private}
conversations to a number of people
throughout the Circuit. I have met
with overwelming encouragement I
feel sincerely grateful for this. |
I will appreciate the support of each
and every voter in the entire Circunit.
My heart is full of gratitude and ap
rrecintion, and will ever be, for the
oyal support given me in the past
throughout the Cireuit, both in my po
litical aspirations and in my profession.
Trusting that you will favor me with
your support and influence, I am,
Very respectfully,

J. Gardner, Marietta, Ga. Dear Sir: We
hand you enclosed certificate of analysis
giving results upon the sample of water
sent us some time ago, 2nd beg to advise
you, in this connection, that the analysis
shows the water to be of unusual purity,
both as regards organic and mineral mat

shown by sanitary analysis, is almost
nothing, and the mineral ingredients
found are also very low, the amount com
paring very favorably with the purity of

water very highly for drinking purposes.

That Hyomei Will Cure All Forms of
Catarrhal Diseases.
Testimonisls could be printed by the
thousands, many of them from Mariet
ta and rearby towns, that Hyomei is an
absolute cure for all catarrhal troubles,
but the best proof of its unusval cura
tive powers is the guarantee that C. M.
Crosby & Co. gives with every outfit
that they sell, “Money back if Hyomei
does not do all that is claimed for it.”
Hyomei is not a secret remedy. Its
formula is given freely to physicians
who want to know what they use when
they prescribe Hyomei. It is guaraii
teed under the Pure Food and Drug
Law by serial No. 1418.
By breathing Hyomei, the healing
medieation goes directly to every nook
and corner of the air passages where
the catarrhal germs may lurk, and dis
infects and heals. To be convinced of
this you have only to give it a trial,
remembering that if it does not cure,
C M. Crosby & Co. will refund your
money.
The complete Hyomei outfit costs but
$l.OO, and in most cases is sufficient to
cure the disease, making it not only a
scientific treatment, but one that is
highl{ economical. Get an outfit to
day from C. M. Crosby & Co.if you
have any catarrh.

TBE REASON
Why J. (. Hall Continues to Recom
mend Vinel.
First: Because it is not a patent
medicine and it contains besides tonic
iron all of the medicinal curative ele
ments of cod liver vil actually taken
from fresh cods’ livers, but without a
drop of oil to nauseate and upset the
stomach and retard its work: there
fore, wherever old-fashioned cod liver
oil or emulsions will do good, Vinol will
do far more good.
Second : gecaule Vinol acts first up
on the stomach, creates a healthy appe
tite, strengthens and tones up the di
gestive organs, purifies and enriches
the blood, and, in a natural manner,
restores health and s',renfth
Third: Because Vinol contains no
injurious drugs to react upon the aye
tem; every ingredient being named
on the label, a patiect knows exactly
what he is taking.
Fourth: Because we never sold any
thing in our store that gave such uni
versal satisfaction for old people, weak,
sickly women and children, nursing
mothers, und to build up the system
after a severe sickness, and for reliev
ing hacking coughs, chronic colds,
bronchitis, and all throat and lang
tronbles.

Dear Sir: Say milk is worth 8¢ a

It '3 water and sold at B¢, the milk
in it fetches 12¢ a quart
If 14 water, 16¢.
If 24 water, 24c.
If 34 water, 32¢
That’s rather too stiff for milk; but
watered paint is sold in all those pro
portions.
Pure paint (Devoe) is sold for $1.75 a
gallon.
“Paint’’ at that price and !4 white
wash fetches $2 62 a gallon for the paint
part of it.
“Paint” 4 whitewash fetches $3.50 a
gallon for the paint in it.
“Paint”’ 37 whitewash fetches $7.00 a
gallon for the actual paint it contains.
And people are paying all these prices
for paint, when they buy adulterated
paints. There are 200 such: only 8 pure

Eat What You Want.
Science Has Now Found the True Way
to Cure Indigestion.
A few years ago, when a sufferer from
indigestion went to a stomach special
ist, the resnlt was a rigid diet list that
almost meant starvation.
But the first thing to do in the case
of indigestion or stomach weakness is
to strengthen the muscular wallg of the
stomach and intestines, so that they
will care for the food that i¢ eaten. In
no other way can this be done as well
as by taking a Mi-o-na tablet before
each meal. This restores strength to
the stomach muscles and stimulates the
pouring out of gastric juices, so that
the food is digested readily and its
nourishment retained in the system to
build up energy and vitality.
Do not think the sick headache,
heartburn, bad taste in the mouth,
coated tongue, spots before the eyes,
sleeplessness, and the many other
Rymptoms that are the direct result of
indigestion, will go away of themselves,
The stomach must be built up and
strenfithened by Mi-00-na before you can
be well and strong, free from suffering
and distress,
The guarantee that O. M, Crosby &
Co. gives with every 50-cent box of Mi
o-na, to refund the money unless the
remedy curee, shows their confidence
in the treatment.
