A Year's Time Has Rolled Around
A YEAR ago Bostain’s opened its doors--t.)l[‘)ened it with the announcement that this was
to be a store something different from the common run of stores. The people of Mari
etta came, and we told them how it was to be ditferent week by week. 52 times this year
we have told you of new things---of things so skillfully bought that the prices were lower
than you could get them anywhere else for. And we told you often of this or that that was
marked down in price for one reason or another. You have never found, during these 52
announcements, anything said that could not be backed up at the store. We’ve elevated
the class of goods sold in Marietta. We’ve proven the value of telling you of things exactly
as they are. We begin our second year with the accumulated enthusiasm of a full 12 months
success. And we thank the people of Marietta for their loyal support. With the beginning
of the 2nd year---on the 10th---Thursday we inaugurate the following prices for4days. Come.
