A LONG LIFE.
How to Conserve Energy and Pro.
long Life.
The time comes to every one when
the life forces begin to fail. 1t is a lit
tle harder to climb a hill or walk up
stairs. Exercise is taken less vigorously
or abandoned, and we feel that the end
of active service is drawing near.
It i 8 more than probable that we have
been over-driving the machine of the
body, which will give out like any ma
chine 1f overtaxed, and we should im
mediately take steps to change the gear,
build up the strength and restore the
life forees. To this end nothing equals
our delicious cod liver and iron pre
paration, Vinol, which is fsr guperior
to ull other tonies and cord liver pre
parations, because itis made by a sci
entific,” extractive, concentrating pro
'coss from fresh cods’ livers, conr?lining
with peptonate of iron all the fediei
nal, healing, bodv-building elements of
cod liver oil, but no oil.
As a body-builder and strength
creator for old people, delicate children,
weak, run-down persons, after sickness,
and for chronie coughs, eolds, bron
chitis, and all throat and lung troubles,
Vinol is unexcelled

Troubles That Keep Half the Marietta
Doctors Busy.
Half of the preseriptions the Marietta
doctors write are for troubles that re
sult direetly from a weakened stomach
Strengthen the stomach muscles and
increase the secretion of gastrie juices
with Mi-o-na, and you will find that
common affliction—indigestion, with its
headaches, dizziness, depression of spie
its, spots before the eyes, nervousness,
sleeplessness and general debility—has
been overcomne.
If Mi-o-na did not have an unusally
curative effect in stomach disorders, it
could not be sold on the guarantee given
by C. M. Crosby & Co., to refund the
‘money unless it does all that is elaimed
for it. They give an absolute, unquali
fied guarantee with every 50-cent box
of Mi-o-na that the money will be re
funded unless the medicine ecures. You
certainly can afford to get Mi-o-na from
them on this plan.

l ANNOUNCES FOR JUDGE,
I Marietta, Ga., Oct. Ist, 1907,
To the Voters of the Biue Ridge Cir
cuit:—l degire at this time to publiely
announce my candidacy for Judge of
the Buperior Courtg of the Blue Ridge
Cireuit, subject to the next Democratic
primary.
1 promise the entire people of this
Judicial Circuit that if I am elected, I
will devote the best work and energy of
my life to the duties of the office, and I
will give them a fair, impartial, clean,
and economical adminigtration of the
laws.
I will do this regardless of how they
voted in the past or how they may vote
in the future. |
I will do this regaraless ol what po
litical faction they may have affiiliated
with in the past or may affiliate with in
the future.
I will do this regardless of their poli
tiecs—whether Demoecrat, Populist or
Republican.
I will do this regardless of whether
they are rich or poer, white or black.
Every man, rich or poor, Democrat,
Populist, or Republican, should respect
and obey the laws:and when the law
deals with them, they should all be
dealt with fairly, justly and impartially,
and they should all be placed upon the
same level in the court house. Politics,
political differences, nor political prej
udices should never become a factor in
the enforcement of our laws or the dis
charge of official duties.
Whether I have opposition or not, I
also promise the entire people of the
Cireuit that I will not in this race, di
rectly or indirectly, use any money,
whiskey, or any other thing of value,
for the purpose of bui’ing votes or
hiring workers in behalf of my candi
dacy, nor will I knowingly permit my
friends to do this.
1 am a member of the State Demo
cratic Executive Committee from the
State-at-Large, and I will advocate the
adoption and enforcement of rules
which will prohibit the use of money,
whiskey, or any other things of value,
to buy votes or hire workers in any of
the primaries, and that will disqualify
any person frow being declared the
nominee of the party for any office, who
violates the rules of the Committee.
It Las been my intention for a num
ber of months to make this race, and I
have so expressed myself in private
conversations to a number of people
throughout the Circuit. I have met
with overwelming encouragement I
feel sincerely grateful for this.
, [ will appreciate the support of each
and every voter in the entire Cirenit.
My heart is full of gratitude and ap
rrecintion. and will ever ba, for the
oyal support given me in the past
throughout the Cireuit, both in My po
litical asp:rations and in my profession.
Trusting that you will favor me with
your support and influence, I am,
Very respectfully,
