The campaign for Judge of the Blue
Ridge circuit seems to be a very tame
affair after all. There doesn’t seem to
be any more excitement than for any
other office.

Praede in fertilizers this year indi
cates a falling off of about 16 to 25 per
cent., asB compared with last year. ac
cording to information received at the
State Department of Agriculture. Last
year the sales of fertilizers in Georgia
were something more than 700,000 tons.
Present indications point to the fact
that this year’s sales are likely to fall
below 600,000 tons for all purposes.

called a meeting of the State Demo
cratic Executive Committee for Feb
ruary 6th, to be held in Atlanta. The
meeting is called for the purpose of or- ‘
dering a primary to elect delegates toa
State convention, which, in tarn, will
elect delegates to the National Demo
cratic convention, the last named con- ‘
ventionito meet at Denver, July 7th.

Dobbs’ horse and wagon in Atlanta Sat

man, and two other boys were in the
wagon, and all were hurt, but not seri
ously, and the horse was also injured.
