LETTER TO D. W, BLAIR,
Marietta, Ga.
Dear Sir: New Orleans is one of the
cities hard on paint; but, nevertheless,
they paint lead-and-oil a good deal
.there
A C Callier painted two houses last
year for F Hinderer: one lead-and-oil
and the other Devoe. The first is al
ready in bad condition; Devoe is per
fect.
M Augustin, New Orleans, has paint
ed his house Devoe three times in
eighteen years. This shows that Devoa
is food for six years there.
n Florida, where lead-and-oil wears
only a year, we have no complaint of
Devoe and we know of its wearing ten
years in several instances. Wedon’t
Bay it wears ten years, you know ; there
are such instances.
*'No ecomplaint’’ is enough to say till
we have long-time experiences ; they're
coming. Meantime, Devoe is the paint
that takes least gallons, makes least
bill, and wears longest. Somuch, we’re
sure of.

A GREAT DISCOVERY. |
Certain Ingredients That Really Grow‘
Hair When Properly Combined-
Resorein is one of the most effective
germ destroyers ever discovered by
science, and in connection with Beta
Napthol, yhlch is both germicidal and
antiseptic, a combination is formed
which destroys the germs which rob the
hair of its natural nourishment, and al
-80 creates a clesn, healthy condition of
the sealp, which prevents the develop
ment of new germs.
Pilocarpin, aithough not a coloring
‘matter or dye, is a well-known ingre
dient for restoring the hair to ite natu
ral color, when the loss of hairhas been
caused by a disease of the scalp.
These ingredients in proper combina
tion, with aleohol added as a stimulant
and for its well-defined nourishing
properties, perfect the moat effective
remedy that is known for scalp and hair
troubles.
We have a remedy which is chiefly
composed of these ingredients, in com
biration with other extremely invalua
ble medicinal agents. We guarantes it
to positively cure dandruff and to grow
hair, even though the scalp in spots is
bare of hair. If there is any vitality
left in the roots, it will positively cure
baldness. If the scalp has a glazed,
shiny appearance, it’s an indication
that baldness is permanent, but in
every other instance, baldness is cura
ble.
We want everyone troubled with
scalp disease or loss of hair to try Rexal
‘93”” Hair Tonic. If it does not cure
dandruff and grow hair to the satisfac
tion of the user, we will, without ques
tion or quibble, return every cent paid
us for it. We print this guarantee on
every bottle. It has effected a positive
cure in 93 per cent. of cases where put
to a practical test,
Rexall *'93” Hair Tonic is entirely
unlike, and in every particular better,
than anything else we know of for the
purpose for which it is prescribed. We
urge you to try thig preraration at our
entire risk. Certainly we know of no
better guarantee to give you. W.A
