cial circuits, one to be called the Blue
Ridge circuit, to be composed of the coun
ties of Campbell, Cobb, Cherokee, Forsyth,
Lumpkin, Union, Paulding, Carroll and
Gilmer, and to be added to the fourth Su r
preme Court Judicial district, and the other
to be called the Macon circuit to be com
posed of the counties of Bibb$|Houstori
Twiggs. Macon, Dooly and Crawford, and
to add the same to the third Supreme court
Judicial district. .
10. To extend the charter of the Bank
of the State of Georgia, and the acts amen
datory thereof, and further to amend the
same in relation to the number of direc
tors. .
11. To appropriate money for repairing
and furnishing the Executive Mausion, and
for the erecting an additional building with
in the enclosure of the same for servants.
12. To pardon Brinkly Bishop of the
county of Bibb, now under sentence of
death for the crime of murder.
13. For the pardon of James Johnson
of the county of Baldwin, under sentence
of death for the crime of murder-
14. To grant and secure to Charles D.
Stewart and others the right to erect and
keep and maintain a dam across a portion
the Chattahoocbe river.
15. To authorize and .enable James
Stewart, an alien born, resident of the coun
ty of Pike, to purchase, hold and convey
real estate within this State.
16. To incorporate the Southern Fe
male College located in the town of Cov-
o-tou, Newton county, and to authorize
the trustees of the Female Seminary of said
county to convey the lot of land in the town
of Covington, whereon the Female Acadi
my now stands, to the trustees of said Col
lege. And also to incorporate the Baptist
church of Christ at Macon, and to appoint
trustees for the same. Also to amend an
act entitled an act to incorporate Madison
Collegiate Institute, assented to the 17 th.

chase of iron for the Wostern and Atlantic
Railroad made by the Governor and Chief
Engineer, and to provide means for the
payment of the same.

tion and third article of the constitution of

of the Central Bank to be deposited in the

holding Inferior Courts in the county of
Marion, to allow said county two weeks in
stead of one for the term of said courts, to
authorize : the judge of said Gourt to draw

authorise the justices of the Inferior Court

preserved as a premanent fund for the sup

incorporate the Washington Fire Company
of the city of Savannah Georgia.

plead and practice law in the several
courts of law and equity in this State, on
certain conditions therein named.

duties, so far as relates to the eounty of
Troup, approved 20th December 1849.

act entitled an act to empower the Inferior
Courts of the several counties in this State,

public bridges, approved December the 4th

of originally Muscogee, as is now included
within the county of Marioq to the county,
of Macon.
54. To add a part of the county of Jack-
son to the county of Madison, so as to in
clude the residence of William Sanders.
55. To change the line between the coun
ties of Ware and Wayne, so

56. To authorize the Judge of the Supe-
Female Institute, incorporated by act of the
Legislature, approved December 17tli, 1847,
and for'other- purposes therein named.

South, to that of the Preacher’s Aid Sociej

St. Paul’s Church in Augusta to sell a por
tion of their lot.
66. To prevent the killing of deer at cer
tain periods of the year in the county of Car-
roll; also to amend a similar aet iu relation
to the county of Richmond.
67. To establish election precincts at the
places of holding Justice’s Courts, in the
counties of Gwinnet, Cass, Gordon, horsyth,
LaGrange, Troup county, so as to extend
and define the powers of the corporate au
thorities of said town, and for other purpo

in Troup county, and to provide for the
election of InteUdant and'commissioners for
the same; also to amend the several laws in

ray and Floyd to the count , of Gordon, and
to add a part of the county of Randolph to
the county of Stewart, and to change the
line between the counties bt Cass and Polk.

of the 13th division of the penal code of this
State.
75. To stop the running of the Statute ot
limitations in all cases where the defendant
shall abscond or remove beyond the limits
of this State.
76. To legalize the November adjourned
terms 1851 of the Superior Courts of Heard
and Troup, and to authorize the cierks of
the courts of Cobb to transfer certain papers
to the clerks of the courts of Paulding, and
to suspend for a limited time an aet to com
pensate the grand and petit jurors for the
several comities herein named, assented to
December 23d, 1837, so far as regards the
