A Useful Table.—To assist the farmer in
arriving at aecaraoy ir. ascertaining the
amount of land in different fields under cu’ti

Each one of these areas contains one acre :
Five yards wide by 9GB yards long, twenty
yards wide by 242 yards long, forty yards w ide
by 121 yards long, 220 feet wide by 168 feet
long, 110 feet wide by 396 feet long, sixty feet

A good farmer will never be satisfied with
his farming until he is confident that his land
grows better every year.

of 20: h February, he wrt-es:
“I have taken fur samples of every cargo which

them. The result is. the Sea Fowl fully maintains

“Upon critical calculation, there is great uniform- |

cargo is a little preferable.”
To Pollard & Cos., under date of 23th February, j
he writes:
“The Sea Fowl, analyz'd from two separate car- ,
goes, indicate a decided increase, of the two staple
articles, Ammonia and Sblttble Phosphoric Aoi 1. —
The first of these was examined in December last, j
and the*second on the 25th Jatmarv, tho latter I
being an improvement on the first. Tlie Sea Fowl

SPECIAL NOTICE.
CHEERING FACTS FOR THE BILIOU3.—•
Every day demonstrates more clearly that liver com

is an obstiiftte disease, but its obstinacy is not proof
against tlic remedial and restomMvo

genial corrective compels the org.ip to do its duty ’
It must-secrete and healthfully under the

the laws of health. If there.is costiveness, it dis*.
appears ; if there is sfde ache orb tcfirache, it ceases*.*
if the skin and the whites'of the eyes are tinged
with supcribioiw bile, they recover their natural
hue; if the appetite is gone, it returns; if the di
gestion is impaired, it. is restored ; In brief, what
ever the symptoms of the complaint may be, and
whatever the ph eit has assumed, a cure is certain.
Such are the uniform effects of this preparation
where bilious disease has been already developed ;
but in cases where there is merely a constitutional
tendency to liver complaint, it may be prevented
throughout life-bv'the regular use, in small quan
tities of this palatable antidote. These are proven
facts, and .should be seriously pondered—or, rather,
they should be promptly acted upon—by all per
