Hemphill had been duly elected Publio Printer and had given bond and qualified as such; therefore, Resolved, That the Secretary of State aud the officers of the two houses bo instructed to fur nish all matter to be printed to him, and that no other publio printer shall hereafter be rec ognized—which was adopted. The House amendments to the Senate reso lution, which provides for the payment of the just claims of teachers of the common schools with the poll tax for the years 1868, ’69 and '71, when the same shall be collected and when a sale can be made of State bonds now designated as the school fund, were taken up. The House amended the resolution by insert ing after 1869, ”1870,” and by striking out all of the resolution relating to the sale of State bonds.
