The Stranger’s Grave hi the Valley, By Yictobia MORse.—This is the title of an "original story, of (Switzerland, written for the Argus, which will make its appearance in our issue of the 22nd inst. It will run through two or three numbers. Those wishing to peruse it shoulfl subscribe for the Argus at once. The Argus will be greatly improved the present year os a family paper. The editor will devote more of his time than usual to its editorial columns, and he has in addition the assured assistance of numerous contributors from various sections of the country. • : "—■ Agricultural Department.—Our planting friends will be pleased to learn, as they will from the following Intro ductory Letter, that Dr Daniel Brad- well has consented to furnish monthly articles for an Agricultural Department in the Argus. We regard Dr. Bradwell as one of the best agricultural writers in the South or North. His ideas of farming are emi nently practicable, and readily com mend themselves to every one at all fa miliar with farming operations. He is no theorist; he writes from his own ex perience in the matteis discussed, hav ing been a planter, of extensive means; during the last forty years, or more. The present anomalous status of onr planting interest, and the many difficul ties in tho fray of successful farming, repder the fcounsel of old and sound practical heads the more necessary.— Every planter, therefore, in Southwest^ ern Georgia should become a subscriber to the Argus, if for tto other motive, that he^iay peruse the Otirinently prac tical Articles of Dr. Daniel Bradwell.
