| Forest-Hill proguct proves facts to

| The Forest-Hill Dairy is located

} No greater proof of the business
' men's willingness to cooperate In
| the campaign could be shown than
ltb,V the manager of the Ritz Cate
| e caid that he uses sixty dollars
| worth cf milk every month at his
| place, and asked Mr. Latimer to
! sount him a patran of the Sunshine
Dairy Company. Mr. M. S. Stuart,
b cenera Imanager of the Universal,
Life Insurance company. also ad
.ded his name to the list. His milk
‘bill is four dolars a week. Muany

night promised the instructor that
they would also work with him in
this respect.
Work For Other Jebs
The campaign catis for Negro
ipport in sther phases o feconom
ic endeaver where jobs can be
made possibie for colored citizens.
The many grocery stores in Mem
phis that depend largely upon Ne
org patronage will not escape the
issie of giving Negroes employ
ment. In most cases where such
tores are located in colored settle
ments. Negroes are merely consum
ers. They dont get the full value
of their spending power through
cmployvmert at these stores. Refu:al
to help colored citizens to earn
some ol the money back that they
ppend with white grocers will “im
ply result in the loss of patronage,
if the campaign is as effective as
the workers expect it to be.
