A N ACT to extend the time for fortu
nate drawers in the Land Lotteries of eighteen
hundred aud eighteen, eighteen hundred nnd nineteen,
and eighteen hundred and twenty-one to take out gran 1 a
for tbe lands thus drawn, and after the time therein
specified, to vest the same in the state.
Beit enacted by ihe fietude and House of Representatives
of the State of Georgia in General .issembty met, ana it
is hereby enacted by the authority of the ime. That every
person who was a fortunate drawer in the lai d lotteries
by the authority of the acts passed on tbe fifteenth iky
of December, eighteen hur.dnd and eighteen, on the six
teenth day of Dectinber, eighteen hundred and nineteen,
anti on the fifteenth day of May, tightei n hundred and
twenty-one, shall have untill the first day of November,
i jghteen hundred and thirty, to lake out his, her or their
grant upon paying into the Treasury the sum of eight
dollars. . ..
Sec. 2. he it further tnacted by the authority
aforesaid, That from and after the first day of November,
eighteen hundred and thirty, the lands so draw n as afore
said, and not granted, shall revert to and become the
property of the State.
Sec. 3. Jlnd be it further enacted, That this act shall
not extend to any lot or lots of land drawn by orphans
until three vear? after tbe- said orphans shall have arriv
ed at tbe age cf twenty-one years ; nor to any lots drawn
by idiots or lunatics or persons who have departed this
life since they gave in for a draw or draws in said lotteries
of 1918,1819 & 1921, and whose estates are ourepre
sented, nor to any lots number ten and one. hundred set
apart for the purposes of public education.
sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That, all ows and
parts of laws militating against this act, be anti the same
is hereby repea ed.
