Among those we consider worthy ol notice it the German Bitters, invented by Dr. Hoopland, and prepared by Dr. Jockaon in Phila delphia. One instance in particular, in which the superior virtues ol this medicine have been totted, has fallen under our observation. He specially recommended it in Liver Complaint, Dyspepsia, Debility, Virtlgo, Aoidity of the Stom ach, Constipation, and all complaints arising from a disordered condition of tho stomach, the liver and tho intestines. Nine Philadelphia papers express their conviction of its excellence, end several oftho editors now r peak of its effects from thoir individual experience. Undor these circumstances, we feel waranted, not only in calling tho attention of our readers to tho present proprietor's (Dr. C. M. She was attacked in November, 1848, with a sovero pain in tho back of tho head, extending down the whole course of tho spino, producing complete parulyzn- lion of the left sido, and rendering it perfectly help less, and in n short time she lost the nso ol tho whole system. She could not turn herself in or out of bed, was reduced to a porfect skeleton, nnd to all appoarancos pusttho roach of remedies. But I now, through tho judicious and skillful applica tion of Dr. Jones' Remedies, consider her restored to a perfect state of heulth, lor which ho will ever have my lusting gratitude. Having boen severely afflioted for several years with a disease of tho stomach, spine nnd head—to onuinerato all tho long train of symptoms with which I was troubled, would occupy moro space than would bo interesting. Suffice it to say, that frequently after anting, I would betaken with vio lent and distressing sensations in tho head nnd back of my nnck, extending half way down the spine. At such times I was compelled to take my bed. Those spells usunlly continued for several hours, nnd wore frequently so sovore a.i to render life a burden. To obtain relief I had recourse ro thobest medical aid tho country afforded. Having tried the most skillful physlttinns in Romo, I applied ot several of tho most eminent professional men of tho United Slates. I wrote to Prof. Dudley, of Kentucky ; had tho celebrated Dr. Mott, of Now York, written to, and his prescription tried; ap plied also to tho much extolled Dr. Durham ; and then successively to Dr. Dugas, of Augusta, Dr. Banks, of Gainesville, Dr. Fort, of Milledgcville, Dr. Catrldgo, of Ohnttooga county, and tho reput ed Dr. M. S. Thomson, of Maeon. All having failed to give rolief, I finally, upon Dr. Jones, loca ting in Homo, ventured on giving him a call. For meourngoment of others, I am happy to certify thut Dr. Jones has given mo moro rolief than all tho rest combined. I can now say that my health is better than it has been for several years past.
