Penitentiary from the 1*4 of November
1817, (’he time of its commencement) to
'he 1st of November 1822, was 207:-and out
of this number, during the same period, 39
were pardoned ; 18e.*c«pcd; 12 died, and
48 discharged, making 117, leaving in the
Penitentiary on tne 1st da) of November,
1822, 9J convicts. Of the 270 who were
