with ten new tow boats, all of the best materials and
expressly adapted to the navigation of the Ocmulgee
and Altamaha rivers. These increased facilities will
afford the Company the means of giving despatch to

to ship their goods by the way of Darien and Macon.

Charter, were opened at the several places to wit:—
Forsyth, Macon, Collodensville, and Stalling’s store,
the time specified in said Charter, and after the sever
al subscriptions from each place being add i sether
were found insufficient to organize the company.—
Consequently the Charter by limitation expired, now,
therefore, preparatory to an application being marie
to the next Legislature to revive said Charter without
amendment, the original subscriber- are hereby noti
fied to attend in Forsyth, on the tenth day of October
next, 9 o’clock A. M. and pay tlie five per cent on their
subscriptions. At which time and place the remain
der of the capital stock will be offered, and the books
will be kept open three days unless sooner taken up,
given under our hands. September the 4th 1835.

There will also be at least eight Steamboats to run
regularly between Darien. Hawkinsville, and Macon,
some of which will start two or throe tinm* a week •
an excellent-stage runs three times a week (w ith tho
probability ofitsrunning every day afterthe 1st ofOc-
•nher,) between Darien A Savannah, and Steamboats
making tlie pa-sage in eleven hours, leave almost eve-
