The Nun's cotton review says: “Cotton
futures opoued a little unsettled lu tone, though
ip some cases slightly dearer. Liverpool re
ports proved much better than anybody ex
pected, and a quick advance of T®j 8 points for
this crop \ras toe result, with the next crop im
proving less. Then the market became quieter,
and the best prices of the day were not paid
until near the close, wheD small port receipts
were bulletined—little more than 3,0il bales.
The close, however, was barely steady. Cotton
on snot was 1-lfic higher.”
