lof the Central at Macon, has been put in
■ charge of the general accountant’s bureau

H Charleston is happy over the concessions
1 by the Atlantic Coast Line in refer
ence to Ashley Junction, a report of which
■.. alrea y appeared in the Morning
H'eivs. The -Veins and Courier says: “The
■nfonnation was given that the ve.tibu'e
Hrains .vill hereof.er run into the city, and
stead of making tho transfers at Ashley
■junction will do so at the union depot, in
■tuiuel street. But the coining of the vesti
■uia trains into the city is not all. The
■leaping car service is to be increased, and
Hr r.after two through specials will run di
■ectly from New York. Of course, the
■estibule and sleepers will all come into the
■ty on their north-bound trips. For this
■it of good fortune special cu e ut is due Geu

■avuuuah railway. Col. C. S. Gadsden, su
■perintendent' t the Charleston and Savau
■ah railway, also did good work in the in
■teres.s of Charleston.”
■ A radical change has been made in the
■vestibuied trains on the New York Central
■read in compliance with tho deoisiou of the
■court sustaining Mr. Pullman’s
■patentee of certain important features of
■ tbe vestibule system heretofore in use on the
■" agner p lace cars. Everything above the
■car platforms, claimed as a Pullman mven
■tion, has been removed from the Wagner
■oars. The principal Pullman appliances
■were tho stout steel face plates, which, with
■their connections, are designed to diminish
■tbe friction and overcome, to a certain ex
■tont, th * oscillation of the cars. Now the
aguer vestibule is made of canvas, stained
■lack. There are two top pieces, and t e
■ides which drop from tne car ho ds are
■birred and allowed to play on rubber bands
■wi.ich are lastemd to upright brass rods
■using from the platforms to the hoods of
■acb car. The canvas pieces are so adjusted

CUTICURA REMEDIES,
MORTAR-SPOTTED KiNS
Covered With Scales. Awful Spectacle,
Cured In Five Weeks by the
Cuttcura Remedies.
I am going to tell you of the extraordinary
cure your Cutiocra Rb*sdiks performed on
m. About the Ist of April last I noticed some
red pimple* like coming out all over my body,
but thought nothing of It until some time later
§on. when it began to look like
spots of mortar spotted on,
aud which came off in layers,
accompanied with itching. I
would scratch every night
until I was raw, then the next
night the scales, being formed
meanwhile, were scratched oil
again. In vain did I consult
all the doctors in the county,
but wttaout aid. After giving
up all hopes of recovery, I
happen td to see an advertise
ment in the newspaper about
your OtmiußA Rich enure, and
purchased them from my druggist, and
obtained almost immedla's relief. I began
to notice that the scaly eruptions grad
ually dropped off and disappeared one by
one, until I had been fully cured. I bad
the disease thirteen months before 1 began tak
ing the Rekediks. and in four or five weeke was
entirely cured. My disease was eczema and
psoriasis. I know of a great many who have
taken the Kkukdiss. and thank jme for the
knowledge of them, especially mothars who have
babes with scaly eruptions on their heads aud
bodies. I cannot express my thanks to you.
My body waa covered with aoales, and I was an
awful spectacle to behold. Now- ray skin is as
clear as a baby‘a GEO. COTEY, Merrill, Wi.
